Celebrating 40 years of the AF-1, the legendary silhouette gets re-imagined through a futurist lens—while harnessing a colourway that nods to the iconic sneaker's origin story.
White and Varsity Maize takes us to the I-95 corridor and the community that helped make the AF-1 the juggernaut it is today. Adding traction to the retro theme, airbrush-inspired branding evokes early-noughties style. And as always, Virgil left room for others to be creative. The design pairs traditional laces with a second set that loops through Flywire cables. The result? A referential meditation on one of modern history's most revered shoes.
